There is much to admire in the symbolism of the Korean Taeguki, our national flag.
At its heart is universal harmony and balance. The four trigrams echo the four
directions, the four seasons and the four elements. All overlaid over a backdrop
of purity and integrity.
This symbolism is echoed in the ethos of UIB Korea. Since the company was formed in 1997,
we have ensured that all our dealings with business partners have been underpinned by
integrity and a constant drive to strike a harmonious balance between the needs of our
clients and risk carriers.
Thanks to the support from all our clients, we have grown under our energetic local leadership and teamwork to where we are today - a truly independent group with strong local partnerships.
UIB Group currently ranks among the top five reinsurance brokers in the world. We are very proud of this fact and that UIB Korea is a special
operation within our growing global network. It is a successful business that has achieved strong year-on-year growth, with a team of over 70 employees.
Since we established the company, we have supported many South Korean companies in de-risking their overseas investments.
With our in-depth
knowledge of the various foreign and domestic markets, we have been able to develop our clients’ risk assessment from an early stage.
Our success is based on total transparency, fairness, and working closely with clients to understand their risk appetite in an ever-changing global environment.
